Tulpa Wiki

Possession is the process of a tulpa taking control of part or all of the host's body. During possession, the host loses sense of agency over the possessed areas, and may also lose sense of ownership. Possession is a mutually initiated process.

Possession differs from switching in that the host doesn't necessarily experience loss of sense of ownership during possession.

Applications[]

The most common application for possession is parallel processing, allowing the host to remain focused on one task, while the tulpa uses part of the body to handle another task.
